「Smile key」造型語意來在於手在握鑰匙時，拇指及食指成圓弧形，利 用直覺的握感能在黑暗中更輕鬆的辨識鑰匙 插入的正確方向。這件鑰匙作品雖然簡單，但或許正好切中這些「人」的問題，因為他們可能患有老花眼或是門口燈光昏暗等因素，導至看不清楚鑰匙的正反方向。透過細微並貼近使用者經驗的觀察，以觸覺代替視覺的辨識， 可縮短夜歸婦女在大門尋找及使用鑰匙的時 間，老人及盲人也更方便使用了。

This key uses the way we perceive shape and the way in which our hands grab keys to provide us with the orientation we need to open doors in dark places. By using the sense of touch rather than sight, it is possible for people to quickly find and get their keys in dark places and to use them to get inside safely. This is particularly convenient for women coming home late and for the blind.
